History of the RPC Group of Companies

The history the RPC Group of Companies originates back to 1985 when it was originally a distribution and warehousing recruitment business called Resource Planning Consultants.

In 2000 Resources Planning Consultants was acquired and was relaunched and became known as the RPC Group of Companies.

Due to the ongoing success the business expanded into logistics and supply chain sectors beyond distribution and warehousing roles.  Consequently, the company started handling a wider variety of positions including sales, HR, Loss Prevention Management, IT positions covering a much wider variety of sectors.  Therefore, the brand RPC Search and Selection was adopted as it gave a clearer definition of what the business did and how it operated.

During the latter part of 2004, the Company started handling overseas based roles.  The trading name of RPC International Recruitment was adopted and at the same time the divisions of RPC Foodservice Recruitment and RPC Interim Recruitment were formally created.  This was later followed in 2014 by the addition of the new division of RPC Commercial Recruitment.

In 2019 recognising that RPC Search and Selection was handling an increasing number of roles other than logistics and supply chain roles, it was decided to change the name of the division.

RPC Technical Recruitment was created with two sub brands, that of RPC Logistics and Supply Chain Recruitment and RPC IT and Telecoms Recruitment.

In addition to its recruitment activities, The rpc Group of Companies has a consultancy division which specialises in Recruitment & HR Consultancy.

Together they all trade under the umbrella name of “RPC Group of Companies” and legally form part of the legal entity – rpc International recruitment Ltd.
